Questions
What buyers ask before a pilot.
Legal, accuracy and false-positive questions, answered from what the platform does today. Anything not covered here, write to us.
Does Mutaris replace legal or regulatory review?
No. Mutaris assists reviewers and does not provide legal advice. It flags claims that need support and names the rule behind each flag. Every approval decision stays with your team.
How it works with your MLR processHow accurate is it?
We do not publish an accuracy figure yet. The one we publish will come from a pilot, measured against your own reviewers’ decisions. Until then, every finding cites its rule and links to the regulation text, so a reviewer can verify it rather than take it on trust.
What if a flag is wrong?
The writer dismisses it. The dismissal is recorded in the audit trail with who did it and when, and the claim ledger lists it as published after a warning, so a reviewer still sees it. In Site Audit, a reviewer sets each finding’s status.
Where does our text go?
The browser extension examines text on your machine first and sends only sentences that look like regulated claims, with one sentence of context either side. Anthropic and Google process those sentences through their enterprise APIs to produce a verdict, and neither trains on them. Flagged sentences and their verdicts retrain Mutaris’s own in-browser classifier, stored without your name or email, and your organization can opt out.
Security and privacyWhich regulations does it check against?
FTC Act Section 5, the FTC guides including 16 CFR 255 (endorsements) and 16 CFR 323 (Made in USA), and FDA rules including 21 CFR 202.1 and FDA OPDP guidance for prescription drug promotion, 21 CFR 101 for supplements and foods, 21 CFR 801 and 807 for devices, and 21 CFR 1271 for HCT/Ps. Each organization chooses which sources apply. The FTC Act is always on.
Where does it work?
ClaimGuard runs in Microsoft Word through an add-in, and in Chrome through an extension that covers web text fields and the LinkedIn and X post composers. Site Audit crawls your live sites. Regulation Search answers questions about the rules, with citations.
How long does a pilot take, and what does it need?
A pilot covers one or two brands and runs alongside your existing review. We ask for your current review baseline, such as how many claims reach review and how many rounds they take, so the result can be measured against it. Duration is agreed with you at the start.
